As of September 1, all corona-related restrictions are dropped at running events in Denmark, and this year’s CPH Half will be held without any restrictions.

Finally!

We’ve waited a long time for some good news about when we could finally run together again. In June, the Danish government decided to drop all restrictions at running events in Denmark as of September 1.

That means the CPH Half gets the green lights to take place without any kind of corona-related restrictions or requirements – no face masks, social distance, small sections or corona passport control.

The general situation in Denmark

The pandemic is considered to be under control in Denmark, where all citizens have been and still are being frequently tested and required to show a negative test result or corona passport when attending concerts, fitness studios or visiting restaurants.

The vaccination programme is also moving forward as planned, and the vast majority of the Danish population is expected to have completed the vaccination by September.

With this great news we look forward to welcoming you in Copenhagen in September for the CPH Half #NoLimitsEdition. More than 12,000 runners have already signed up for the race.
