With entries 30% ahead of last year, CPH Half now expects the fifth race edition to sell out before race day.

Entries keep ticking in. More than 20,500 of the 25,000 bibs available are already sold, and the curve doesn’t appear to decrease anytime soon.

This means, according to the organizers, that the CPH Half is going to sell out before the start goes off on September 15.

“Being 30% ahead of entries and soon able to announce sell out definitely exceeds our expectations. The limit of 25,000 spots will not be modified, as this is the maximum capacity of the course and the starting and finish area,” says Dorte Vibjerg, CEO of Sparta, who co-organizes the CPH Half together with the Danish Athletics Federation.

Half marathon with great potential

25,000 entries sold clearly shows the enormous potential of the half marathon distance.

“The fact that the CPH Half is going to sell out, truly fullfils our most important vision of wanting to establish one of the world’s best annual half marathon events. Selling out really goes to show the huge potential of the half marathon distance,” according to Dorte Vibjerg.

The event is not sold out yet, and if you want to be a part of it, you can still get a ticket at cphhalf.com.
