If you’re planning to join the CPH Half in only two weeks from now on the 18th September, it’s time to secure your entry!
With only two weeks to go, the entry list for this year’s CPH Half now counts 24,000 runners.
That means that the CPH Half ’22 is aiming straight towards sold-out.
When the CPH Half is launched on Sunday, September 18 at 11:15 AM, it will be the 8th version of the international World Athletics Label event. It will also mark the launch of the SuperHalfs running series with CPH Half being one of the five European half marathons in the SuperSeries.
The first year, the CPH Half sold out, was in 2019.
The same year where Geoffrey Kamworor clocked a 58:01 winning time to smash the half marathon world record in the streets of Copenhagen.
If the international running scene had not yet heard of the lightning fast World Half Marathon legacy course in Copenhagen, the news was now spreading fast that CPH Half was the place to break limits.
The year after, in 2020, the race was about to sell out long before race day. However, the corona pandemic changed everything, and the CPH Half along with almost all other race events around the world, had to be cancelled.
Now everything indicates that the CPH Half is back in “super shape”, and thousands of runners from all over the world er once again ready and able to come to the Danish capital for a world-class, SuperFast once-in-a-lifetime race experience.
The CPH Half features start groups from world lead pace to ordinary recreational runners like you and me, who are aiming to run the 21.0975 km in finish times from 1:45 to 2:30 or more.
And perhaps the best thing is that thousands of spectators will be cheering you towards the finish line, making you feel like a star – regardless of your pace, experience or the number of medals on your living room wall.
CPH Half is for everyone who dreams of a world-class race experience.
