Personal refreshment
You have the option to have personal liquids in the refreshment stations on the course. The personal refreshments must be handed in between 7:30 and 8:00 AM on race day. The personal liquids will be removed at exactly 8:00 AM, after which they will be transported out on the course.
Your personal liquids must be handed in next to the Expo building on PH Lings Allé. Here you’ll find boxes with kilometer markers indicating which refreshment stations they will be placed at.
Make sure your bottles stand out so you can recognize them again during the race.
Note!
As an elite athlete, you must take your own fluids when you get to the aid stations. No help/assistance is allowed.
Shoe regulations
The current World Athletics rules for shoes apply, including a maximum shoe height of 40 mm. Please make sure your shoes meet the current requirements.
You can see which shoes qualify here.
Technical meeting
There will be no technical meeting for elite B and C athletes. All important information can be found on this page.
Bib numbers
All Elite B and C athletes must pick up their bib numbers at the Help Desk and not at the regular bib pick-up.
The Help Desk is located outside the Expo Hall next to the T-shirt pick-up.
DM back label
If you participate in the Danish Championship, you must also remember to pick up your DM back label from the Help Desk.
The DM backmark must be worn on your back. This applies to both seeded and unseeded runners.
Elite tent
All elite B and C athletes have access to the elite tent. This serves as a call room and is located right close to the the starting area (see map below).
You have the opportunity to store your race bag in the elite tent. The tent is staffed by Copenhagen Half Marathon personnel and is open from 7:45 to 12:00.
How to get to the start
Elite B and C athletes are followed to the start from the Elite tent (C first – then B). From the tent we walk through Fælledparken and up to the start on Jagtvej. It will NOT be possible to enter the elite section of the starting area on your own hand.
You can’t expect there to be room to warm up once you’re in the starting gate.
Please see the schedule for Race Day above for details.
When you reach the finish line
When you arrive at the finish line, you can either go directly into the elite tent or through the start street where you can get water, fruit and the like after the race.
You can always enter the elite tent through the main entrance as long as you have your elite B or C start number on.
Remember to pick up your race bag if you have stored it in the elite tent. The tent closes at 12:00 noon.
National Record?
If you set a national record please let us know at the finish line or in the mixed zone. We would love to take your picture and celebrate you.
Settlement and competition conditions
Everyone seeded for DM Senior and U23 elite will be placed in a separate DM field immediately behind the international elite. Individual placements in these classes are always decided on gross times (time starts at the starting gun; first across the finish line).
Team competitions are always decided on net times (time starts when the runner crosses the start line and ends when crossing the finish line).
Masters competitors start in their respective start groups according to the stated expected finish time, unless their time qualifies them to be seeded DM runner.
Both the individual and team competition for the Masters classes are decided on net time.
Find your way around on Race Day
As an Elite B runner or seeded Elite C runner, pick up your Race Bag in the tent outside the Expo. Then pick up your race number at the Help Desk, which is located in a white tent next to it.
