The party starts in earnest on Thursday, September 12, when the CPH Half Expo opens and welcomes the first participants.

With only a few days left until the biggest day of the year, it’s time to pick up your race number, explore the Expo and enjoy the electric atmosphere that covers the city like a blanket. We’ve put together a great programme for you with experiences for the whole family, culminating on Sunday.

Here’s an overview of what you can look forward to.

Thursday 12/9

The CPH Half Expo opens.

This is where we pick up our bibs and disappear into the mazes with the latest clothes, gear and equipment. And this is where we see each other for the first time after we have all trained through darkness, rain and cold – separately, but towards the same goal: Copenhagen Half Marathon.

Date: Thursday, September 12 to Saturday, September 14

Address: Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen Ø

Expo opening hours

Thursday: 12:00 – 19:00

Friday: 10:00 – 19:00

Saturday: 10:00 – 19:00

Yoga and family running in Tivoli Gardens

The days leading up to the Copenhagen Half Marathon are all about soaking up the atmosphere of our capital city. Feel the intense atmosphere and get ready for Sunday, where your journey culminates. Maybe a run in Tivoli is tempting, or maybe you need to take a deep breath and calm your nerves at yoga with our partner PureGym?

Garden Run in Tivoli

Together with SMILfonden and Tivoli Gardens, we invite you to join us for a magical run in the Old Garden at Tivoli Gardens.

It’s a unique chance to run in one of the world’s oldest amusement parks before it opens its doors to all other guests. It’s not just a magical run. You’re also running with your heart. While you run, you’re helping to raise money for SMILfonden’s invaluable work for children with chronic and serious illnesses.

For every lap you complete on the 800m loop, we donate 10kr to the SMIL Foundation.

There is only room for 500 participants and it typically sells out.

Yoga with PureGym

Breathe deep into your belly. Lower your heart rate. Find peace within yourself.

If you need to find peace, we recommend that you join our free yoga class with PureGym. We meet under the open sky at Østerbro Stadium, where an experienced instructor will guide us and make sure we’re ready for raceday.

All you need to bring is a yoga mat and your friends. We’ll take care of the rest.

Expo opening hours
